If you are having trouble using 'SmartUpdate' with Netscape, it is probably because you are behind a 'fire wall'. This is a protection system most often used within company networks, making it impossible for you to use 'SmartUpdate'. In order for you to be able to download Netscape, you must choose the browser for your platform that does not contain 'SmartUpdate'.

Pick a version of Netscape for your platform. You will recieve an install that does not contain SmartUpdate.
